GoodEats Terms of Service

Version 2026-08-25

  1. The service. GoodEats is a personal place tracker, operated by Gorish Aggarwal (“we”). It’s free of charge and provided as-is; we aim for reliability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service.
  2. Accounts (beta). GoodEats works fully without an account. An optional account (Sign in with Apple) is in development for cross-device sync and future sharing; if you join the beta, you’re responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; you must be 13+ (or the digital-consent age where you live).
  3. Your content. Everything you save stays yours. For synced content we take only the license needed to store and sync it — and, for anything you later explicitly share, to show it to the people you chose. We claim no other rights.
  4. Acceptable use. Don’t upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or abusive; don’t probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service; don’t use it to spam or harass. We may remove content or accounts that break these rules.
  5. Deletion. You can delete an account in Settings at any time; synced data is removed from our servers. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
  6. Privacy. See the Privacy Policy — it’s part of these terms.
  7. Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be shown in the app for re-consent. Continued use after that means acceptance.
  8. Liability. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages; total liability is capped at $50. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
  9. Governing law. California, USA.
